Residents’ Association Round Table

Dear Residents’ Association Member,

Thank you so much to those of you who came along to our Residents’ Association Round Table meetings before Christmas in response to the Leader of the Council’s invitation to talk about priorities for the borough.

Biggin Hill firefighter commended

We were delighted to be at Biggin Hill Fire Station shortly before Christmas, when White Watch Manager Wayne Trigg was presented with a Commendation from the Fire Brigade Borough Commander.

Bombardier – Biggin Hill Airport

With the extended hours at Biggin Hill Airport, Bombardier Business Aircraft are to double their capacity with an additional service hanger which will be operational by the end of 2017 and dedicated to heavy maintenance events.

Roadworks and Bus Stops

By the time you read this we anticipate that the Southern Gas Networks roadworks in Sunningvale Avenue will be completed to Melody Road. The bus stops in Kings Road to replace the Hail and Ride system should also be completed and working properly.

Westerham Development

We went to a meeting on 31st October called by Westerham Town Council, to which Councillors from surrounding Parish and District Councils had been invited.

Theft of cars in Biggin Hill

There have been a number of car thefts in Biggin Hill recently, which is reflected in similar crimes in The Borough and elsewhere.

Church Road development
