The Home Office has today confirmed the officer recruitment targets for every police force in England and Wales for the first year of the unprecedented drive to increase their ranks by 20,000 over the next three years.

What Boris Johnson’s proposed Brexit deal means

As Boris Johnson has rightly said, we are coming out of the EU on October 31, come what may. MPs promised to respect the result of the referendum. More people voted to leave than have ever voted for any political party in any general election. Parliament has voted to trigger Article 50.

Leadership Vote

Jeremy Hunt and Boris Johnson will now go to a vote – decided by Party members. You should receive your ballot paper between the 6th and the 8th of July.

Voter ID pilot – acceptable ID announced

Bromley will be participating in a pilot at the Local Elections on 3 May this year to test the requirement to produce identification in order to vote at the Polling Station.

British Legion Orpington

A service to lay up the Standard of the Canadian Veterans Association of the UK.- And a ceremony to hand over the CVAUK National Ensign to Orpington Branch of the Royal British Legion. Held in the Lady Chapel at Guildford Cathedral.
