Samaris Huntington-Thresher

Councillor for Chelsfield & Pratts Bottom
Samaris Huntington-Thresher grew up in Chelsfield, and lives locally running her own health and nutrition business. Samaris has been Councillor for Chelsfield, Green St Green and Pratts Bottom since 2002, sitting on Planning and Environment Committees to protect local services and prevent over-development changing the character of the area.

Samaris is a Governor of Green Street Green Primary School where she has supported them through many changes and their conversion to academy status. She has also worked with the many local friends groups and helped to secure funding for improvements to our green spaces.

A fervent supporter of the green belt and the environment, Samaris enjoys horse-riding and country walks with her dogs.
