Orpington has always been lucky enough to have resident swans and ducks living on the pond in its Priory Gardens. 

They have been a joy to see by many families walking and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

However recently these poor creatures have been suffering from vicious attacks from young people who come to the Gardens to cause havoc.

One swan has already been killed and our local Police are now including the Gardens in their patrols.

Please help

Our Mayor and Mayoress, Mike & Kim Botting, have joined other citizens in patrolling the Gardens.

If you see any bad behaviour there, PLEASE do not hesitate to call the Police.
